What awakens a woman to embrace her feminine qualities?
A wonderful slideshow that reveals the essence of being a woman -- "The Bright Red Hat".
This superb, visual soul-searching presentation was sent to me by a remarkable, female friend, Lotta Granbom (www.lottagranbom.blogspot.com).
It delivers a punch to the core of my feminine soul, releasing a flow of emotions: joy, warmth, love, sensuality, compassion, intuition, understanding and gratitude. It aptly describes the progressive phases of a woman going through self-reflection on her long transformational journey in life.
From the day she opens her eyes as a princess to the day she turns 80 as a goddess in her own right, she knows down deep inside that she is special and unique. She explores the superficial beauty of her exterior and uncovers the hidden beauty of her interior. Emerging as a confident individual in her later years, she becomes aware that by conquering the world, she has, in essence, conquered herself.
What makes a woman a woman lies in the secret of being in close touch with nature. As a powerful force, Mother Nature enraptures her with intense sensations, constantly drawing her toward the beauty of nature while heightening her senses without spoken words. A woman possesses this innate quality of affinity to and understanding of nature without ever knowing how and why that she does. It's nature's gift to women. She naturally exudes emotions and feelings that sometimes come across as inexplicable or inarticulate if put into words. Yet, she intuitively comprehends the connotations behind these heart-felt expressions.
At the end of the long, winding road in life, a woman finds her true self through years of dealing with life's tribulations and achievements -- at times sacrificing herself for the good of others, such as family and humanity.
As a youth, she experiences the innocence, passion and purity of feelings in ordinary events -- either joyous or painful -- that find their way into her subconscious mind as unforgettable memories. She explores and experiments as part of her character development and identity search.
When she becomes an adult, maturity nurtures her basic instincts to protect the young, care for the weak and help the needy. She learns the meanings of love, sensitivity, compassion, devotion, patience, integrity, fortitude and loyalty through her relationships with her loved ones, family and friends. In our modern age, a woman is saddled with more responsibility than her male counterpart in running a happy home, sharing the burden of work, and being involved in community activities -- yet she only gains recognition as the caretaker, supporter, and giver.
As she reaches a ripe old age, she becomes the teacher of knowledge, imparting wisdom of which she has gained from her skills and life experience. Utilizing her powers of intuition, she reigns as the master of healing at the highest level. At last, she knows who and what she is -- a perfect woman!
This is a must-see slideshow for women of any age. Youll be glad you did!
